Jeanice Lee talks to Kimberly Vermillion, Director of Marketing and Communications at Arizona Animal Welfare League. AAWL is located on 40th Street in Phoenix. They are the oldest and largest no kill shelter in AZ serving the community for over 50 yrs. They offer fostering, adoptions, dog training, low-cost vet services and more. Vermillion describes their fostering and adoption process. She offers tips on how to get a pet comfortable in their new environment along with tips on how to keep them safe around a pool, in various weather and reminds us to never leave a pet alone in a vehicle.
