Jack Church spoke with Kellie Cardona, Executive Director for the Augusta Dream Center in Augusta, Georgia. Cardona talked about how she helped start the center when seeing the need for hurting individuals and families in the south portion of Augusta. The center has now expanded and offers food thru it's food pantry, a mobile food truck, an onsite clothes closet along with educational and medical resources. The Dream Center also uses the Adopt a Block concept where they go into impoverished neighborhoods and spend a day helping with yardwork, playing games with kids and introducing people to the many services available thru the Dream Center.
