Peter Kaye speaks with Marie Wirth of BeLoved, a community outreach of Mercy Chapel in Sanford, Maine that supplies the tangible needs of children and their families in the foster care system. Wirth states that often times when a child is placed in foster care they don’t have the proper items they need such as bedding, pajamas, hygiene products and more. She discusses BeLoved’s child seat program a free service helping moms and dads navigate the often-changing requirements to keep their kiddos safe. Wirth outlines their wish list of items that they are in need of and encourages the community to get involved.
