Jeanice Lee talks to Sheri Briggs, Founder of Bridge of Hope San Diego. Briggs says their mission is to strengthen families in transition by providing furniture, household items, clothing, and food to people who are staring over from leaving homeless and domestic violence shelters, recovery homes, families facing crisis, and refugees. If you have a caseworker, you can receive assistance for furniture and household items. Food is available to anyone every Friday 11:30a – 1p. Every second and fourth Saturday is Community Day 9a-11a for their clothing closet. Donations are needed for furniture, gently used clothing from baby items to adults and volunteers are encouraged.
