Jack Church spoke with MacKenzie Pogue, county agent and local 4-H Youth Development Leader for Central City and Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. Pogue talked about how 4-H has evolved over the years from being an ag focused club to now offering additional programs in science, engineering and technology. She also said the biggest area of participation is in leadership and learning public speaking skills which will be valuable for an entire lifetime. 4-H also offers summer camps where kids learn outdoors skills and participate in hiking, fishing, boating and other activities.
