Monika Kelly spoke to Central Union Mission CEO Joe Mettimano about all of the unique services that the mission offers--a men's shelter and ministry program, help for families and children from at-risk neighborhoods (including a food and clothing pantry), workforce training, medical help (including psychiatric care), Camp Bennett (a summer camp for at-risk children), a Social Work Department and daily chapel services. The Central Union Mission also has a bakery and a business called Mission Muffins Trailer, helping thousands of people have an opportunity to work.
