Phil O'Bryan talks with Jennifer Welter, Executive Director of Community Action Programs of Central Arkansas which covers three counties in Central Arkansas (Faulkner, White & Cleburne Counties), about the many programs they offer for the less fortunate. They include food, distribution, utility assistance, individual case management with an emphasis on education, and weatherization of homes. They also administer the Head Start program providing a "head start" before enrollment in first grade. We also talk about their new program focusing on the homeless population, Project Homeless Connect, which provides essential services.
