Rafael Sierra talks with Renee Trincanello, CEO of Covenant House Florida in Fort Lauderdale. Covenant House Florida serves Miami, Dade Broward and Palm Beach counties, providing sanctuary and support to young people ages 18-22 who are experiencing homelessness. Trincanello talks about helping young people find shelter and vital resources. She describes their programs and services including their emergency shelter, onsite education and GED programing, parenting education and support for young parents, clinical mental health counseling, medical services, workforce development program, transitional and permanent housing assistance and more.
