Jeanice Lee talks to Laurie Kochis, Cowlitz County Farmers Market Manager. Kochis says the markets’ goal is to bring fresh local produce, high quality goods, arts, and crafts to the community. Kochis describes the wide variety of vendors, and she also talks about the vendor application process, the need for volunteers and the different activities at the market. 2023 season kicks off April 15th every Saturday 9a – 2p in the parking lot across from the fairgrounds.
