Tanya Bohannon talks with Gary Johnson, the Founder and President of the D.C. Youth Empowerment organization. Johnson begins with describing how and why he created the organization and shares what he feels is important about working with the youth that are living in an urban environment. He also details the many programs the organization offers and what he loves most about working with youth. Johnson shares what the kids accomplish while going through the program and how it can impact the community.
