Jeanice Lee talks with Jacqueline Diaz-Fontana, Founder of the Erick A. Garcia “You Are Enough” Foundation. After losing her son Erick to suicide, Diaz-Fontana turned her pain into purpose by sharing her personal story and talking about signs to look for when we suspect someone may want to harm themselves. She shares the stigma surrounding mental health. Support is available, including to those who have attempted to harm themselves. Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for 10-34 yr olds. Help is available in English and Spanish by calling 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline 24 hrs. a day. (YouAreEnoughFoundation.org)
