Jim Davis speaks with Lori Gougeon, President and CEO of InReach located in Charlotte, NC. InReach provides innovative housing, employment, and community services to support people with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities and their families. The organization offers a list of services that include residential services, employment services, day support and activity centers, tailored care management, and more. Gougeon talks about the challenges of guiding those who are aging out of school at 22 and the need for better alliance between the schools and organizations, such as InReach, in helping the developmentally disabled.
