Peter Kaye speaks with Yvonne Sullivan of Family Promise of Cape May County, a local nonprofit organization serving working families experiencing homelessness. Sullivan speaks to the challenge of affordable housing throughout Cape May County and shares how after the pandemic there was a shift by property owners from renting on a yearly basis to renting their properties out as bed and breakfasts. She explains how Family Promise partners with local churches and businesses to help homeless families get back on their feet and thrive through various free programs including financial literacy, their day center, landlord network and more.
