Jim Davis talks with Peggy Hendrix, Executive Director of Family Promise of Moore County about how they provide assistance to families with children who find themselves homeless. Hendrix addresses how high housing costs make it difficult for the families that stay at their shelter to find a place to live. She describes the process of Family Promise working with the mothers to teach them about saving money and budgeting. Finally, Hendrix tells the story of a mom and family that greatly impacted her.
