Lexy Smith speaks with Jeanie Whitten, Program Director for Family Promise of Greater Washington County. The Family Promise of Greater Washington County is the result of two previous chapters in the area merging into one. Whitten shares how families are a greater population of the unhoused. Whitten explains how during the shutdown it made their nonprofit more efficient. Whitten details the different programs offered whether homeless and needing shelter or programs that can help if one is say behind on utilities or rent.
