Jim Davis talks with Tyler Alder, Executive Director of First Love On Main in Morristown. First Love’s mission is to provide free dental and medical access to the underserved population in the Lakeway area. Alder shares the history and vision of the clinic’s beginning as a mission of the First Baptist Church of Morristown. He describes the services the clinic provides including free dental work, health screenings and some medication prescription fulfillment. Alder also explains the ways in which First Love On Main partners with other area organizations to provide mobile clinics at various food distributions and events during the year. Finally, he shares firsthand examples of seeing the clinic make a difference in the lives of individuals in the Morristown/Lakeway area.
