Billie Wright talks with Jessica Tretina, marketing and communications manager with Food for Free. Food for Free bridges the gaps between potential food waste and those who are food insecure. Tretina explains who is most likely to be food insecure and how they provide food to them. She shares the ever-growing need for food and how they work with local restaurants and others to minimize food waste in the Boston area. Tretina says their Just Eats and Heat-n-Eat meals are popular and fill some of the needs of those who are food insecure.
