Jim Davis speaks with Stephanie Halcomb, Primary Contact Director for the Fort Logan Cooperative Ministry located in Stanford. Halcomb said the Cooperative was organized in 1988 as a ministry of the Lincoln County, Kentucky Ministerial Association which is a group of local churches. She talks about the challenges of feeding the local food insecure community at a time when budget is lower, and need is big. Halcomb also discusses the various ways the organization gets its food and how items as simple as paper towels and dish detergent make a big difference to clients.
