Jeanice Lee talks with the Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity San Bernardino Area, David Hahn. Hahn describes the mission of Habitat which is to put Gods love into action by bringing people together by building homes, communities, and hope. Habitat does not just give away homes. They help people establish themselves and crate generational wealth by giving people an opportunity to be a first-time homebuyer. Hahn shares about the benefits of having decent housing. There are specific qualifications people must have to qualify for a home. Hahn shares about their Brush with Kindness program which is an external home painting project with minor repairs and landscaping activities. There is a Habitat ReStore located in Redlands which sells product and proceeds are used to help pay for the build of homes and communities. (habitatsb.org)
