Rafael Sierra talks with Erin Johansen, CEO of Hope Cooperative. Hope Cooperative serves the greater Sacramento region and Yolo County, CA, providing mental health supported housing and substance use disorder services to people with serious mental illness, most of whom are experiencing homelessness. Johansen says they specialize in the hardest to serve, many of these folks completely disconnected from friends or family who might be able to help them. Johansen describes their programs and services including housing assistance, behavioral health services, substance use recovery and support, employment assistance, and more. Johansen says there is no cost for their services. (https://phoenixhouseca.org/)
