Rafael Sierra talks with Janell Lewis, Executive Director of I Have A Dream Foundation- Los Angeles. I Have A Dream Foundation - Los Angeles serves the greater Los Angeles area, providing individual, social, emotional and academic support to young people from low-income communities. Lewis says they offer support inside and outside the classroom. They help kids identify what they’re naturally gifted at, what their strengths are and helps them develop college and career goals. Their Dream UP conference gives kids a chance to see what college is all about. Lewis says there’s no cost to families for their services. (https://www.ihadla.org/)
