Jack Church spoke with Fletcher Gill, CEO and Co Founder of Luke's Wings based in Washington D.C. Gill talked about how and why he started Luke's Wings to help provide complimentary airfare to wounded, ill and injured services members as well as their loved ones. Gill said the government provides a limited number of flights which often times leave service members alone with no family support while recovering and receiving treatment in military hospitals in the states as well as around the world. Luke's Wings has been able to provide over 15 thousand flights since being founded in 2007. Gill said the effect of having a family member with a recovering soldier is essential to their recover.
