Peter Kaye speaks with Diane Kuppermann of Make-A-Wish Central New York about their mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Kuppermann shares heart-warming stories of local children’s wishing being granted and what the impact of that granted wish was on not only the wish kid but also their families and sometimes their communities as well. She introduces us to Jordan whose wish was to be an Oneida City Police officer and how that wish came to be a reality. Kuppermann speaks to how important volunteerism is to Make-A-Wish Central New York’s wish granting and how people can get involved.
