Peter Kaye speaks with Christie Payne of My Brothers Workshop a nonprofit organization providing hope and purpose to at risk and high-risk youth ages 16-24 through a holistic approach of mentorship, education, counseling, on the job training and more. Payne gives examples of trainees going on to fulfilling lives of passion and purpose after graduating their various programs. She gives a behind the scenes look at a typical day in their social enterprise café and bakery and how it provides a host of tools to the trainees for their future success while serving the community. Payne gives an update on MBW’s campus project and it’s future impact on the island.
