Felipe Aguilar speaks with Anna Bunker, Peer & Outreach Programs Manager, with NAMI Central Texas, about the challenges that the Austin metro area is facing with mental health concerns, and about the work that NAMI Central Texas is doing to provide support and resources to people who are struggling with mental health. Bunker also talks about the work that NAMI Central Texas is doing to mitigate this community concern. Bunker describes ‘red flags” and “triggers may indicate someone is dealing with a mental health issue and how to talk with them without being judgmental or creating a barrier.
