LOCAL Closer Look: New Orleans Salvation Army

Phil O'Bryan talks with Major Christopher Thornhill with the New Orleans Command of the Salvation Army. Thornhill talks about the history of the Salvation Army along with their role in New Orleans and around the world today. These programs are designed to break multigenerational poverty including social service programs to break the bounds of drug and alcohol addiction. Programs that accomplish this include the Pathway of Hope, spiritual guidance as well as programs for kids which includes a summer camp program.
