Peter Kaye speaks with Rich Romero of OHI about some of the numerous services and resources they provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to assist them in making life choices and setting their own goals. Romero discusses the history of OHI and how the special needs landscape has changed drastically since the organization’s inception in 1979. He takes us inside Eagles Nest Clubhouse, a social and vocational rehabilitation program featuring employment as a primary rehabilitation tool and shares how not only members but local businesses and the community as a whole benefit.
