Jeanice Lee talks to Linda Puppolo, Executive Director of Pacific Cancer Foundation. Pacific Cancer Foundation was founded in 2005 by doctors and community leaders who saw the need to offer better cancer services and support to people through their cancer diagnosis. Puppolo says their “care coordinators” help people arrange appointments, attend Dr. appointments when needed, they assist in getting questions answered, help arrange transportation, counseling, support groups (including men) nutritional support and more. They will help people with or without insurance. Pacific Cancer Foundation is a self-refer or physician referral organization.
