Sarah Shaver spoke with Bekah Hill, Executive Director of the Pregnancy Care Center of Wayne County (PCCWC) in Wooster, Ohio, which serves not only Wayne but also Holmes County. Hill talked about the group’s history, her own journey to working at PCCWC, their long-running, highly regarded abstinence program in Wayne and Holmes county schools, and what “engage, equip, and empower” means to them and how they communicate those ideals to their clients, female and male. Hill said PCCWC is there to create relationships and support for the person during and after their pregnancy and they love walking with their clients, as they are “pro-abundant life.” Hill said all services are free and confidential including pregnancy tests, counseling, parenting education, ultrasounds, Men of Honor, Women of Hope, service referrals, post pregnancy loss or termination counseling, and more.
