Jack Church spoke with Jackie Craig, CEO and co-founder of the Green Chair Project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Green Chair Project is a unique program that re-uses gently used and some new home furnishings for people coming out of homelessness, crisis or natural disasters. Craig said the Project started in 2010 and has served over 8 thousand families and individuals in the Raleigh area. Craig said they are able to furnish and entire home from kitchen ware to beds and living room furniture at no charge with only a small delivery fee which can also be adjusted to what a person or family can afford.
