Jeanice Lee talks to Brian Rayburn, VP of Ministries of the Rescue Mission Alliance. Rayburn says they are a faith-based org and a family of ministries that include men, women, and family shelters that help those who are homeless, struggle with addiction, and they recently added help for domestic violence and human trafficking to their shelters. They serve Santa Maria, Ventura, San Fernando, Victor Valley, Antelope Valley. Rayburn says supporting faith-based orgs is needed. Something unique about the Rescue Mission Alliance is they continue to pioneer different ways to respond to homelessness, addiction, human trafficking, and domestic violence.
