Jeanice Lee talks to Founder/Executive Director of Sale Ranch Animal Sanctuary, Jen Sale. Sale says they rescue animals who are discarded by the food industry in a medical crisis. She says they are like an acute care facility for animals that need medical attention to survive. Once the animals are healed and healthy, Sale says they give the animals lifelong refuge so that they can live out their natural life span in the safety of their ranch. They are not only a 100% off-grid sanctuary, but they also have a sustainable and regenerative garden.
