Peter Kaye speaks with Nori Gartner-Baca of The Samaritan Center about the various services and resources they offer individuals and families who are either homeless or struggling to make ends meet. Gartner-Baca explains how often times the hot meals that are served 365 days a year are the touch point that connects clients to the many wrap-around services the Center provides including case management, resume writing, emergency financial assistance and much more. She also outlines the My Place Program which assists clients making the transition to their own apartment with free items such as sheets, bowls, coffee makers, etc.
