Jeanice Lee speaks to Ann DeVlaeminck, Executive Director of Southwest Lending Closet. DeVlaeminck says they are a volunteer-based non-profit that lends home health equipment such as wheelchairs, canes, bathtub rails and more at no charge. There are no geographic restrictions. Anyone, including people from out of state, can use their services if needed.
Equipment can be used for up to 90 days or longer on a case-by-case basis. Donations are welcome to help pay for repair parts and to sustain their mission.
