Lexy Smith speaks with Major Robert Schmig, Officer in charge for the Salvation Army Outpost in St. George. The Salvation Army has been in St. George serves Washington County. Schmig shares how the Salvation Army is an International Organization that was founded in the 1800’s in England. Schmig talks about the food boxes and bus tickets are offered year-round to those who qualify. Schmig details the many other programs they have including gas cards and disaster relief programs.
