Becky Hansen talks with Michelle Reinen, Policy Initiatives Advisor for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection or DATCP. Reinen explains theConsumer Protection Division is focused on preventing fraud and protecting consumers by keeping the public aware of the scams that are circulating and how to protect themselves. Surprisingly, the age group most victimized are 20-somethings, but those folks that fall victim over age 70 tend to lose larger amounts of money. (www.datcp.wi.gov)
