Jeanice Lee talks with the CEO of the YMCA of Douglas County, Cody Brockelmeyer. The Ys offers something for everyone in the community since 1948. Their mission is to serve the community and their motto is a “better us” with the focus on meeting community needs including through various partnerships. Brockelmeyer shares about the many sports programs the Y offers such as pickleball, aquatics, Zumba, before/after school programs, licensed childcare, youth programs, summer camps plus many other programs that help promote a healthy lifestyle.
