Lexy Smith sits down with Michael Scharnow, the Executive Director of The Fountain Hills Youth Substance Abuse Coalition. “The Coalition” as it’s called is a program for the youth in the Fountain Hills area that teaches children the negative effects of drug, alcohol, and tobacco use and abuse. The Coalition has been making an impact since 2009. Sharnow explains how they seek every age group to volunteer for the program and how you can surrender expired drugs that may be in your medicine cabinets at home.
