Jeanice Lee talks with Liz Starke, Development Director of Rose Haven. Rose Haven is a day shelter and a community center that serves women and children that are experiencing abuse, loss of home and other life challenges. They help break the cycle of homelessness by providing meals, clothing, first aid, mailing addresses, hygiene items, restrooms, showers as well as educational programs and guidance through medical and social services. By meeting basic needs and building relationships they remove barriers that allow women to get back on their feet. Hygiene items, backpacks, and volunteers are welcome to serve. (RoseHaven.org)
