Peter Kaye speaks with Jason Ludwig, Northeastern Director of Straight Ahead Ministries, a faith-based ministry providing care and support for justice-involved youth since 1987. Ludwig gives an unsettling snapshot into the day to day lives of our youth often fighting to get by and making poor decisions due to a lack of a stable family life. He shares his own story of being incarcerated for 9 years and how that led him to helping youth across the Granite State in and coming out of lockup. Ludwig outlines the need of a father figure or older brother for teens and how big of a difference mentoring makes.
