Peter Kaye speaks with Dr Scott Larson, president of Straight Ahead Ministries, a faith-based ministry serving care and support for justice-involved youth since 1987. Larson discusses the need for reaching out to this population where they are at helping them navigate their future success in a safe environment. He proudly shares multiple stories of youth turning their lives around because of a relationship with Jesus Christ and their local community giving them an opportunity through Straight Ahead’s Straight2Work program. Larson shares is cheaper per day to send a youth to Harvard than it is to lock them up and urges others to get involved in making a difference in the lives of our youth.
