How do you make a major life change with a family?

Family

Ken Coleman, America's career coach and bestselling author, explains the importance of clarity around your ‘why’ when making a decision that affects your family in a major way.

Everyone has a different tolerance for change, and knowing where you and your spouse each stand will help you look at the whole picture. When you sit down to talk about major life changes, the goal is to seek clarity and understanding for both sides.

Before making a final decision, think down the road: Will passing up on an opportunity out of 'love' end up turning into resentment? Will choosing to move forward before everyone feels confident with the decision leave someone feeling hurt and unheard?

Trusting God is the most important key to thriving through major life changes with your family. Even when He calls you to step outside your comfort zone, have confidence that God is going to provide for you wherever He leads.
