Jeanice Lee talks with Brad York, President of the Tillamook Beekeepers Association. York states they are a non-profit group of beekeepers who are sharing resources, ideas, concerns and learning together on how best to take care of bees. York describes the value and function of the honeybee, worker bee, queen bee, and the role of a drone. York gives insight on pesticide alternatives, what to do if you have a swarm of bees and describes some bee friendly flowing trees, scrubs etc. Honeybees are responsible for 80% of all pollination on earth.
