Jim Davis speaks with Angie Philpot, Executive Director of CASA of Southern Kentucky, about the organization’s work supporting vulnerable children in the court system. CASA of Southern Kentucky, located in Somerset, trains and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers who serve as advocates for abused and neglected children involved in the court system. Philpot discusses the ongoing need for volunteers and community support to help ensure children’s voices are heard and their best interests are represented.
