Jim Davis speaks with Ashley Wagers, spokesperson for Hagar's Well in London, Kentucky. Hagar's Well is a faith based nonprofit transitional housing ministry that serves women who are battling drug and alcohol addiction. Wagers says the ministry officially started in 2022 but was an extension of a local church that was already addressing the addiction issue. Their program supports the women in several ways including counseling and therapy, life skills training, employment assistance and peer support. Finally, Wagers says she has seen many women successfully rebuild their lives through the help of Hagar's Well.
