Kindra Ponzio talks With Luis Santoni, Executive Director of Reno Sparks Gospel Mission. Santoni talks about the early roots of the gospel mission and what it's grown to be today. He talks about the shelter and programs designed to help transition into permanent housing. They have food giveaways, pop-up pantries and a thrift store that helps generate income for the free recovery program they offer. They also have a culinary program that is very helpful in finding their clients jobs and teaching them valuable skills. Santoni says they also have many more services that help prepare people for permanent housing and maintaining it, as well as transitional housing options.
