Jeanice Lee talks with Dave Long, Director of the San Tan Valley Veterans Center. Founded in 2020 by veterans, the center was created to address the lack of resources for veterans on the east side of the valley. Located at 5764 E Hunt Highway in Florence, inside the historic Magic Oasis golf house, the center serves local veterans through community-focused activities and supportive services. Programs include AA and peer support groups, help navigating VA benefits, and assistance for widows of veterans.
