Kindra Ponzio talks with Stan Wilson, Curator with the Shafter Depot Museum. Wilson tells us that the building in the old train depot and talks about the military exhibit they have and gives the history of the German concentration camp that was there in Shafter. He talks about their historic buildings on site and train cars along with some very unique and hard to find artifacts. Wilson also gives us a bit of General Shafter’s history, the founder of Shafter. He also shares that it was once a thriving potato community and they have lots of displays showcasing that in the museum.
