Kindra Ponzio talks with Colleen Grant, Co-President of Sleep in Heavenly Peace Santa Barbara. Some are sleeping multiple kids to a bed, with parents, on sofas, floor, mats, etc. Grant talks about the volunteers who build rustic wood bed frames and deliver at no cost to kids, complete with brand new mattress, sheets, comforter, pillow etc. She says seeing the look on these kids faces is priceless and is why they do what they do. This Chapter has delivered over 3000 beds and the need is still strong. She says it's tragic how many kids are without beds.
