Two powerful global gatherings converge today in the heart of Jerusalem. Hosted by Eagles’ Wings, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) and Awake Jerusalem unite believers from across the nations for a historic moment of worship, prayer, and awakening at the Tower of David near Jaffa Gate.
From 4:00–5:30 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Jewish and Christian friends will come together for the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem, lifting their voices in unity to declare God’s promises of peace over the city and the people of Israel. Since its founding in 2002, DPPJ has mobilized millions of believers from over 175 nations to intercede for Jerusalem—affirming Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: may they prosper
who love you.”
Then, beginning at 6:30 PM EST, the celebration continues as Awake Jerusalem transforms the Tower of David into a vibrant center of praise and proclamation. This unforgettable evening of worship will feature award-winning artists and global influencers including Nate Diaz, Paul Wilbur, David Binion, Bryson Rory, Ross Johnston, and others from around the world.
Together, these back-to-back gatherings embody the heartbeat of a growing global movement—one that believes Jerusalem is not only the center of biblical history but the epicenter of God’s redemptive future for the nations.
Bishop Robert Stearns, Founder and Executive Director of Eagles’ Wings, shared:
“Today, as the world’s eyes are once again on Jerusalem, we stand shoulder to shoulder— Jew and Christian, Israeli and international—declaring that God’s covenant promises still stand. This is more than a concert or a prayer meeting; it is a prophetic sign that hope and restoration are rising from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. When we pray and worship together here, we are shaping history.”
The convergence of the Day of Prayer and Awake Jerusalem is also the culmination of the Watchmen on the Wall Tour, which has brought hundreds of Christian leaders and believers to Israel this year to walk the ancient paths, meet local leaders, and strengthen ties between the church and Israel.
As day turns to night, worship will echo through the stones of the Old City, declaring that peace, not conflict, will have the final word over Jerusalem.
